A boy had made a ball from plastic bag scraps and threw it to me. I threw it back to him and asked if he had made it. He smiled shyly, face turned down, the way Kenyans do, and answered “yes.” I asked him if he would teach me to make one later that week. (more…)
Christmas in Africa

It is Christmas in Africa for an ISF team this year. We have a team of seven going to Malava Kenya to not only take Christmas gifts to the children at the Tumaini Miles of Smiles Orphanage, but the team will also construct a multiple element swing set and playground unit. (more…)
