| Project Description: | Love soccer, basketball, volleyball, hockey or tennis? Russian students do as well! Sports is a great way to develop new relationships on university campuses. College students seem to be receptive to interacting with Americans about most anything, even talking about Christianity. Serve with local missionaries by building relationships with the students through various sports and other activities with the intent of creating small groups to discuss the Bible and other relevant topics.
Other ministry opportunities include speaking in classroom settings on the campuses, participating in community outreach events and prayer walking.
The SportsPlus training camp will take place from June 3-5, 2008. Volunteers will train with other mission teams and will then depart from the Atlanta airport on June 5 to go on their mission.

| Housing for Volunteers | SportsPlus team members will stay in a standard hotel. The facilities are very comfortable and clean. |

| How Project Relates to Strategy | The goal of this project is to invite all new contacts that the team makes throughout the week to attend on-going Bible studies administered by local pastors and ministry leaders. This will allow any seeds that are planted to be watered so that the students can be discipled and taught more about the Word of God. |

| Extra Cost Considerations: | The total cost of this project is $1,100 + airfare. This includes a two day training camp in Atlanta, team outfitting, on-field transportation, lodging, meals, insurance, and all other mission-related expenses. Sightseeing and souvenir expenses are not included in this final project cost. |
