| Uganda June 29-July 12, 2010 $1150 + airfare Various recreational sports/Community activities | This team will continue the work of previous SportsPlus teams, helping a local pastor who ministers to displaced families due to the unrest in Northern Uganda. | Addis Ababa, Ethiopia June 29-July 12, 2010 $1100 + airfare Soccer | It has been estimated that there are more than 5 million orphans in Ethiopia. Many of these children live on the streets of Addis Ababa. This SportsPlus team will join an Ethiopian man who has started a soccer ministry reaching out to the street children in the capital city. We will help to build relationships in the community by visiting local schools speaking about abstinence and purity. This project will give a good opportunity for a mix of city and village life in Central Asia.
